Notes

Time Line

1910. Arrangements have been completed for the opening of the Crest View park, for the entertainment of those who visit. Special trains will run to Crestview and it is expected that large crowds will avail themselves of the opportunity to visit that pretty amusement place. The Crestview orchestra will render a program on Monday as well as on Sunday. Commencing tomorrow, officials of the KC railroad will let loose in Calumet about ten minature airships daily to advertise the park opening. Attached to each airship will be a round trip ticket, which will entitle the finder to a free ride from Calumet to Crestview and return. [CN-1910-0523]
