Location: Delaware, MI - Delaware Mill
The Delaware mine operated an associated stamp mill in Delaware. During the early mining era, stamp mills were located at the mine because railroad transportation wasn't available. Later, stamp mills were located along navigational water closer to water resources which were necessary to operate the stamps, and coal which powered the powerful stamps.
