Station: Childsdale, MI
Childsdale was settled about 1848 with a sawmill. It was originally called Gibraltar. The Childsdale Paper Mill was established in 1866. The town was renamed Childsdale in 1900. [MPN]
Childsdale was located on the Grand Rapids & Indiana railroad line about 12 miles northeast of downtown Grand Rapids.
