Location: Prison Station, Jackson, MI
This was the location of the "new" Jackson Prison which was relocated northeast of the city in Blackman Township. The Grand Trunk Western had a 750 car siding here and likely delivered coal for heating boilers here. The Michigan Central also had trackage rights to the prison from North Yard in Jackson for the same purpose.
