Location: Iron River, MI - James Switch
James Switch was a location on the C&NW main line west of the Iron River depot. This was the junction off the main line to the James and other mines in Mineral Hills north of Iron River.
Notes
The location of this switch was between 14th and 16th street, on what is now the State Line Trail. [GMAP]
Time Line
1960. Up until now, the C&NW main line east of James Switch was 110 lbs per year. West of here was 72 pounds. [IDG-1960-0606]
