Station: Mud Lake, MI
Mud Lake was a station on the Detroit & Mackinac branch from Mud Lake Jct. to Loud Junction in northwest Alcona County. This was a logging settlement.

Time Line
1891. December. At the log camp of the Comstock Brothers on the Mud Lake railroad, 42,000 saw logs have been skidded. William Mulvena sent out a car load of sleighs and lumbering apparatus to his cam on the Mud Lake Railroad last week. [AAN-1891-1209]
