The Nahma & Northern railroad operated from the north shore of Lake Michigan in Nahma, north into the forests of the upper peninsula. The railroad crossed and interchanged with the Soo Line at Nahma Junction.

Time Line

1941. March. 200 ski enthusiasts will attend the annual Camp Party of the Gladstone Ski club which will be held today at Camp 27 of the Bay de Noquet Lumber Company in Nahma. The group will drive from Gladstone to Nahma and then board the Nahma Northern railroad for a train trip to their camp about 20 miles north of Nahma. Cars for the train have been furnished by the Soo Line railroad. A camp dinner will be served and a program presented. [EDP-1941-0309]
