Railroad: Michigan Shore Railroad, Inc.
The Michigan Shore railroad was created in 1990 to purchase tracks in the Muskegon area from the Central Michigan railroad. These are former Grand Trunk Western lines. This is a terminal switching railroad. This is now a Genesee & Wyoming railroad.
GTW → Central Michigan → Michigan Shore Railroad → Currently Operating (G&W)
Acquired: 1990 - line in Muskegon from Central Michigan. Controlled at incorporation by Rail-Tex Corporation. Sold to Genesee & Wyoming.
