Railroad: Ludington and Northern Railway Company

The Ludington & Northern railway was created in 1901 to own the former Epworth League railroad south from Epworth Heights towards Ludington. The L&N served for many years hauling sand in the area to a connection with the PM (later C&O and CSX). The operation was discontinued in 1997. [MRL]
