Railroad: Lenawee County Railroad Company
The Lenawee County railroad was created to operate former Penn Central lines which became state owned following PC's bankruptcy in 1976. These included former PC lines in Lenawee as well as part of the former DT&I near Morenci. These operations were assigned to the Adrian & Blissfield railroad around 1990 and the LCRR was discontinued.
State (former Conrail) → Lenawee County Railroad → ADBF (operator for state)
From: 1997 - State of Michigan (former Conrail lines)
Operated for 13 years.
Became: Operations Ended. Line operator changed to Adrian & Blissfield - 1990.
