Railroad: Hermansville & Western railroad

The Hermansville & Western railroad was built around 1883 to serve the logging camps of the IXL lumber operations in Menominee County. The main line of 9.1 miles also had a number of branch lines. The line was abandoned in 1908. [MRL]
