Railroad: Grass Lake and Manistee River Railroad Company

The Grass Lake and Manistee River railroad was built in 1886 from the Manistee River in Kalkaska County 12 miles southeast to the end of line in Crawford County (Sec. 30 T25N R4W). The line was pulled up in 1892.
