Time Line
1904. November 4. The DM&TSL will be formally opened tomorrow, when the through service between the two cities (Toledo and Detroit) will begin. The event will be celebrated by the officials of the line taking a party through on special cars. A delegation from the board of commerce will go, and the party will be met at Monroe by the chamber of commerce of Toledo, which will accompany the Detroiters to the Maumee city, where dinner will be served. The overhead crossing at the Wabash road has been completed and the new bridge across the Rouge is now ready fo use. [DFP-1904-1104]
