Time Line
1895. James D. Hawks, having been appointed manager of the Detroit & Mackinac Railroad by the new ownership of that concern, has tendered his resignation as manager of the Detroit Citizens' Railway, and the same is likely to be accepted at the next meeting of the board of directors. Mr. Hawks does not authorize the publication of this statement, but The Free Press is assured on trustworthy authority that it is true. [DFP-1895-0120]
