Notes

D. J. Kennedy of Bay City opened a horse car line from the McArthur Boat Dock south on Main Street, with branches to the Michigan Central depot and a saw mill in Duncan City (across the Cheboygan River from the City of Cheboygan).

Two cars were used and a third was added. In the winter, runners were substituted for wheels. The road shut down in 1896 and was reopened in 1898. Operations ended in September, 1898. [CERA]

The car/horse barn for this line was near the McArthur dock.
