C&WM Inspection TrainNotes

In 1881, the annual report for this road includes the C&WM, the Grand Rapids, Newaygo & Lake Shore, and the Grand Haven Railroad company. The C&WM board is very similar to the Detroit, Lansing & Northern board. The report notes that the Indiana & Michigan Railway, identified as the "southern extension" is completed from New Buffalo through to LaPorte, IN. "Trains will be running to La Crosse not later than August 15, 1882". [C&WM-1881]
