The Adrian City Electric Belt Railway was an electric street railway in the City of Adrian in Lenawee County. The line operated from 1889 to 1900 when it was reorganized as the Adrian Street Railway. [MRL]

The line was interrupted several times due to money problems.


Time Line

1889. The line was reorganized as the Adrian Street Railway. The railroad began in 1889, using one-truck cars.

1891. The one-truck cars were replaced with two-truck cars .

1907. The Toledo & Western interurban line arrived in 1907 and took over the line. [CERA]
