Oil Refinery: Osceola Refining Company, West Branch, MI

The Osceola refinery in West Branch was capable of throughput of 9,500 barrels of oil per day. In 1977, it was reported to be increasing due to installation of new equipment. The company was purchased around 1977 by the United Refining Company of Warren, PA. The facility was located along the New York Central railroad about two miles southeast of West Branch.
