Roosevelt Oil Refinery, Mt. Pleasant, MI

This refinary was located in the 300 to 700 block of West Pickard in Mt. Pleasant, along the Pere Marquette (later C&O) right-of-way. It was built in 1928 and 1929. It became cntrolled by the Leonard Oil Company of Alma in 1955. It closed in the 1970's. [The Morning Sun]
