A Notable Milestone Has Been Reached. The 100th Meeting of the Durand Slide Show
After years of casual basement meetings, these slide shows became more of a formal event on November 18, 1989. This date is set as meeting number one.
Starting in the Lennon church basement and moving to the Durand City Hall basement on November 4, 1995, we have endured the evolution of slide projection to digital projection and have weathered the Covid storm to make it to our 100th meeting. Congratulations to everyone! It takes all of us to make this happen!
PRESENTATIONS: There will be ten, 30 minute presentations, all focused on the theme of the Grand Trunk Western Railroad (Associated Companies).
There is no guarantee of available time for individual 7 minutes presentations. We will see if there is time at the end.
The meeting will be held in the City Hall Basement. An elevator is available for those requiring one.
Food: Break for dinner at approximately 5 PM. Local restaurants are in walking distance. Fast food is available near I-69 interchange.
